On A5ugust 16, 2023, the 7th China-South Asia Expo, with the theme of “Solidarity and Collaboration for Common Development”, was held in Kunming, Yunnan Province. As the only vehicle exhibitor in the Sichuan Province pavilion, Kaiyi Auto presented X3 Pro EV at the Expo.

Huang Shuo, Asia-Pacific regional manager of Kaiyi Auto, said that the market share of Chinese automobiles in ASEAN has been expanding year by year and has risen from less than 1% to more than 6% in the past five years, especially new energy vehicle sales. With the deepening of Kaiyi’s new energy strategy, Kaiyi will launch a number of new energy products in the future, including SUVs and A00-class right-hand drive models. Kaiyi hopes to seek comprehensive partners through the China-South Asia Expo.

 

On the first day of the exhibition, Yang Xingping, vice governor of Sichuan Province, came to visit Kaiyi Auto exhibition area and inquired about the configurations and range of X3 Pro EV, and affirmed Kaiyi’s products. During the exhibition, Kaiyi Auto introduced Kaiyi’s new energy strategy and products and right-hand drive models suitable for the Southeast Asian market to traders from Nepal, Cambodia, Thailand and Indonesia. and negotiated cooperation on localized production and sales.
